The new property owner desired a completely remodeled public atrium space and front lobby area, board rooms, swimming pool area and restrooms for hotel guests, employees, and convention, event and meeting attendees.
Beginning with interior demolition work, PCS facilitated removal and significant repair of the functioning stream that ran through the atrium. PCS collaborated with third-party structural engineers to achieve proper compaction code compliance including substantial concrete foundation work. Construction featured installation of new structural walls, flooring, and lighting along with electrical, HVAC and plumbing services; finishing with new paint to the atrium and lobby areas.
Adjacent to the public area, PCS remodeled several board and meeting rooms. The goal was updating and modernizing the style, which included extensive demolition work and installation of new structural walls, carpet and acoustical ceiling, finished with specialty coated paint products.
